Flatiron 1771 Brings An Entire Experience To The Table
One of our favorite restaurant groups has one-upped themselves with Flatiron 1771
In 1988, the 1771 Group of Restaurants opened with Chateau 1771, which became a staple for Filipino families throughout the years and generations. There are mornings that I still remember, which I spent sitting on its chairs and poring over the menu for an order I knew I would enjoy. I remember reaching out over the table and stabbing my fork on my older siblings’ orders. So really, it’s no wonder why Flatiron 1771, an addition from the group, creates that same feeling.

Flatiron 1771 – Prime Rib Steak, Seafood Jambalaya, and more!
On this visit, I tried some of the new items and old time favorites!
I was there when FlatIron 1771 first opened in Uptown Mall, Bonifacio Global City in 2016 (see post here: http://www.patchesoflifebyjessa.com/2016/08/flatiron1771-steak-brisket6-more.html). I loved the modern sleekambiance of the store back then in solid colors of black, red, and white. They aren’t cheap but reasonably priced for the quality of food and service they provide. Though if you are going solo, you might find yourself spending extra as most of their dishes were for sharing.

Flatiron 1771 – Buttery Chicken Piccata!
The other day, I was invited to lunch at Flatiron 1771 at Uptown Mall in BGC. Flatiron 1771 is located at a corner of the ground floor of Uptown Mall, facing the fountain.
The restaurant was named after the iconic Flatiron building in New York, and aims to bring the New York experience to the table. The selection marries the melting pot history and culture of New York with the 1771 Group of Restaurant’s “no borders cuisine”. I like what they did with the door! It’s more “Flatiron” than the previous design.

Flatiron 1771 is anything but flat
Here are some of its signature dishes that you definitely have to try out.
From Italian to American cuisine, all the way down to out-of-this-world flavors from its slew of eclectic food trucks, very few places on earth could probably rival the gustatory paradise that is New York’s Flatiron district. But while a meal at Eataly or Eleven Madison may sound nothing short of tempting, it’s also a 14-hour flight and a visa away (at best).

Restaurants in Manila for Great Cocktails
The Christopher Street, an Earl Grey-infused gin-based cocktail, should be right up your alley.
This trendy New York-inspired diner recently underwent another makeover to give them a more relaxed and casual look. And with a new, spruced-up space also comes an outdoor bar, which is hard-to-miss with its steel-heavy, industrial-themed look. Drinks are available all day, and they’ve got Happy Hour promos from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., so you can start really early or end really late.
